All stained products are hand-wiped unless otherwise noted and top-coated using a catalyzed conversion varnish with UV inhibitor added to protect against discoloration.

bulletWe offer two Gloss Finishes: Satin is standard (35-40 sheen) or Matte (15-20 sheen) available on every color EXCEPT these paint colors: Cobalt, Crimson and Ebony which are only available in a Matte finish.
bulletAll Custom Stain or Paint Colors will have a $167.00 set-up charge and will be priced by the square foot. Add-on jobs within 6 months will have a $55.00 set-up charge added for custom colors. If not ordered within 6 months, a new color sample will need to be made.
bulletPlease Note: Due to the nature of wood, there will be a certain degree of color and grain variation between the color sample and the finished product. These variations are considered natural characteristics of wood and are standard throughout the industry. Keep in mind that painting a solid wood door may have cracking in the paint due to the natural movement that occurs with the environment conditions of the room.

Glazing is a highlight that is applied to the entire stained surface, then wiped off by hand, leaving a thin coating over flat surfaces and heavier coverage in and on profiles and corners.
The back side of the doors are not glazed.

Heirloom Finish – This is rubbed through process available on any PAINTED finish. The paint on the corners and profiles are randomly sanded down to reveal the natural wood beneath and then top-coated with our catalyzed conversion varnish. A sample door must be ordered with each job for customer approval.
Cost: $6.35 / sq ft.

Vintage Finish – This is a rubbed through process available on any STAINED finish. The door is stained first then a black overcoat is applied to the entire surface and rubbed off randomly to reveal the stained surface beneath. The catalyzed conversion varnish top-coat is applied last. . A sample door must be ordered with each job for customer approval.
Cost: $6.35 / sq ft.

Flow Pen - A flow pen is filled with glaze material and used to draw a line around the profiles of a door or drawer front to make them stand out.  Flow Pen colors are available in Brown, Black and White.  $4.14 / sq ft

Distressing – (Available on solid wood only) We recommend a sample door be ordered

Lightly Distressed – Using a distressing tool, there will be random placement of nicks on the faces only.
Cost: $1.90 / sq ft.

Heavily Distressed – Using a distressing tool, there will be random placement of nicks and worn holes with the edges and corners sanded down to resemble wear marks.
Cost: $3.70 / sq ft
 

We will except no liability for cracking of paint on doors at glue joints.
Doors orders will vary slightly in color as compared to samples.
Wood, being a natural product, will vary in wood-grain and color.
For add-on orders, we suggest sending us a sample to match before ordering.
